This is a picture I got to pick up people's spirits at work, if things are going rough.
This is an absolute url. It is the complete url to a website. Here is a relative url. It is not the complete url, but contains a shortcut to get to the image. Which includes '..' in the beginning of the url to indicate that it can be found in the root folder.
The advantage of using Dreamweaver to manage your files, is that it knows which files are dependent, and if you move or delete a file in Dreamweaver, it will make the changes to the other files which are dependent upon the one you changed.
The index.html is important, because it is the home page, or the main file in which a website is based in. It is the core of any webpage.
The DOCTYPE that you use for your webpages is html 1.0 transitional.
em is used over i for italics because em is referring to content, where i is referring to text presentation. The same goes for strong and b. Where strong is content related and b is presentation related.
